One way you can check for slight alignment problems is by measuring the tread depth on the outside and inside of each tire with a tread-depth gauge and comparing.
If you get mismatched measurement, like, for example, 5 mm on the outside but only 3 meters on the inside, then that means you could have an alignment problem.
How Often Are Alignments Needed?
Getting an alignment done on your vehicle isn't something that you need all the time. If you baby your vehicle by staying on top of your tire pressures/rotations and don't hit a lot of bumps, then alignment is a service that you may not even need.
