Easy Reimbursement

Once your vehicle has been purchased and adaptive equipment installation is complete, simply give your dealer your vehicle bill of sale and paid adaptive equipment invoice, and they will promptly submit your claim. Once the claim has been approved, your reimbursement check should arrive within two to four weeks.

 

Program Guidelines

-Major structural vehicle modifications must be done by an authorized Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM)

-Initiation of the adaptation must take place within 12 months of the dealer-reported date of sale or lease and claimed within 12 months of that date.

-Original documentation, prepared by a certified medical professional, detailing the permanent medical condition and need for equipment is required when that equipment does not have a clear definition of need. Examples: alert hearing devices, swivel seats, pedal extensions, aftermarket lumbar support and running boards.

-Eligible vehicles include new vehicles acquired from a U.S. Lincoln Authorized Pool Converter.

-Not Eligible for Reimbursement: Modification and equipment for used vehicles, Equipment that is otherwise available as a factory option (running boards, lumbar seats, air conditioning, etc.)
